Our out-of-school services:

Our out-of-school services of Trottin-Trottinette are offered to students before and after school. On professional days, as well as during certain school holidays, our service is available to registered students. Our qualified educators have the required training to offer quality francophone daycare services. Our programs aim to enrich the francophone experience of André-Piolat elementary students, with stimulating and fun activities that reinforce team spirit and a commitment to our community. Child development is at the heart of our childcare philosophy.

WHO CAN ENROLL?:

Students registered at L’École André-Piolat from Kindergarten through grade 6 can enrol. Space is limited, however, and each applicant is placed on a waiting list before they may be enrolled.

OPENING DAYS AND HOURS:

During the school year, we are open from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and again from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. On professional days and during certain school holidays, our childcare service operates from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

ACTIVITIES:

Our educators offer a diverse array of stimulating activities. Examples include:

•  Theme-inspired workshops and cooperative games.
• Twenty minutes per day to complete homework or do silent reading in French.
• Free time, indoors and outdoors, to play sports and games.
• Field trips on professional days and during holiday periods.

We offer a rich and diverse inventory of sports equipment and games. Our themes aim to enrich each child’s learning experience in French. Our activities reinforce each child’s education.
