The Team

Trottin-Trottinette is a non-profit organization administered by a Board of Directors (i.e. conseil d’administration : C.A) made up of volunteer-parents and a director. Parents are invited to become involved in the Board of Directors either at the level of the executive committee or as a director. The Council meets every month, in the evening, at school. The CA positions are filled at the Annual General Meeting.

Caregivers and Teaching staff:

We put a lot of care into recruiting our francophone teachers. Each has received or is receiving required training depending on the position held and holds a valid first aid certificate. The C.A. maintains good relations with the personnel who themselves evolve in a climate of good understanding. This contributes to maintaining the quality of our teaching. In addition, we dedicate a significant training budget to our staff each year. Hence the loyalty of some of them: several have been working within the structure for more than 10 years, one of the employees has been working for more than 20 years. Finally, we strictly follow the regulations issued by the North Shore Department of Health (Vancouver Coastal Health), such as the number of children per class and teacher. To apply, please send us your CV to direction@trottintrottinette.com

Criminal record check:

In accordance with the regulations in BC – staff, trainees and volunteers (other than parents of registered children) are subject to a criminal record check before entering Trottin-Trottinette.
